1. Computer science trained my mind.
2. Design thinking trained my heart.
5 years ago, I accidentally fell in love with design.
I wanted to make people feel confident and empowered while using technology. I wanted to solve problems, and not just build products.
This journey lead me to the University of Michigan Ann-Arbor , where I learned to design with intention. I'm currently working remotely for the University of Chicago's Digital Library Development Center. Previously I have worked at multiple startups as a sole contributor, and also at large organizations, tinkering with problems in engineering, e-commerce, healthcare, government systems, and more.

UX is complex, it's easy to get lost and try to do everything at once. Scoping the project, having definitive end goals is important.
Don't build traps into your products. Be open and transparent to your users - show hidden prices and think about their digital well-being.
UX as a discipline will cease to exist if we don't get buy-in from the people involved. Being evidence driven and balancing user and business goals is the way to go.
Processes are not set in stone. Make the best out of the available resources, use the methods you have learned at appropriate occasions (not always in the same order!).
